BTS is celebrating April Fools' Day by having some on Twitter with their fans!
On April 1, the group changed their profile picture from a photo of all of them to a rather unusual image of member Jin holding a massive black tiger prawn like a telephone. They also changed their name field to an emoji of a blonde boy and a shrimp before sending out a simple "Hello?" tweet as if he was talking into his shrimp phone.
In response, one netizen playfully commented: "BTS? Jin? We only know Seokprawn."
Later, the profile and image changed again - this time around, featuring a selfie of J-Hope and Suga. The account's name also changed from BTS to 'SOPE,' a combination of the two members' names.
"Contact via DM for event inquiries," the profile playfully read. "We can go anywhere within the country. Get it!"
Soon after, they tweeted: "The number one of Korea!!!! Singers SOPE."
The constant moving around of content on the BTS Twitter was a big hit with their fans, who quickly caused '#SOPE' to trend worldwide on Twitter.
Meanwhile, BTS is currently preparing to make a comeback later this month.
