In light of an official press conference held on the morning of April 4, representatives from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Office once again stressed that there are currently no plans for the investigation team to summon model Lee Chul Woo, singer Jinwoon, or Kangin.
After confirming criminal charges against singer Roy Kim for the distribution of illegal photos without consent, police stated regarding the individuals who starred in JTBC's 'Hitmaker' alongside Jung Joon Young in the past, "Excluding Roy Kim, other celebrities currently receiving media attention for being involved in 'Jung Joon Young's chat rooms' including Jinwoon, Kangin, Lee Chul Woo, [CNBLUE's] Lee Jonghyun, and [former Highlight member] Junhyung are all classified as 'witnesses' in this investigation. Lee [Jonghyun] and Yong [Junhyung] have both completed their witness testimonies, and we do not have plans to summon the other three for additional investigation."
According to Lee Chul Woo and Kangin's labels, the three 'Hitmaker' co-stars did have a group chat room which included Jung Joon Young in the past; however, no illegal hidden camera footage was filed nor distributed in this chat room.
I always thought it was a little far fetched that JJY would show the dark side of his character to people he was just doing a show with. I mean, you don't share your criminal activity with just anyone unless you want to get caught.
