During their long-awaited debut showcase held on March 5 at 2 PM KST, Big Hit Entertainment's rookie boy group TXT displayed their humility as BTS's official "younger brother" group.
First, the members discussed the advice they received from producer Bang Si Hyuk. "He told us that practice is the sole base of confidence. He also told us to practice hard, and perform freely on stage. He said that once we stood on stage, we would realize how important practicing is... BTS sunbaenims also gave us similar advice," TXT relayed.
The group continued, "[BTS] are sunbaenims who are like the sky to us. While we were recording, [BTS] told us that they would talk about us during their award reception speeches, and they even mentioned us at the 'Grammy Awards'. It was the greatest honor, and we were incredibly touched to receive so much heartfelt advice."
Finally, "We feel it is a very high honor to be called 'BTS's younger brother group'. We are thankful to have received such a nickname, but on the other hand, it makes us anxious and worried. We plan to work as hard as we feel anxious. We will always work hard so that we do not tarnish the sunbaenims' reputation."
BTS's "younger brother" group TXT recently made their debut with their 1st mini album 'The Dream Chapter: STAR' on March 4.
Being BTS hoobeys is really double edged sword for them...on one hand they are getting easy attention on other hand comparison and expectations will be very intense... Hope they overcome this pressure and make name for themselves
