This question makes no sense. Should they be defended? By who? Yes, they should be by attorneys. They deserve a fair trial like anyone else. Should they be defended by their fans? At this point, no. There's a lot of damning evidence and some have admitted to wrong doing to various degrees. Should the be incarcerated? Based on what has been released, some of them, yes. But it's not for us to decide. That's up to the Korean legal system. Let's hope all the attention keeps those involved in the investigation honest.
