Lets start with the Seungri scandal because that happened first. The basic explanation, Seungri of BIGBANG was accused of hiring prostitutes to  entertain investors. I don't really know how to explain. You might want to check out other articles for more details if you haven't heard about it, however, Im sure everyone has. 

My thoughts, at first I really didn't believe it, I like other VIPs thought this was to cover up for the SOPA scandal which had happened a few days before this, as I have been told. As more and more started to drop, I really started to think Seungri did do this.

And of course, the reporter had made a good choice not to send it to the police. I will admit, I was very disappointed by this. I really don't think anyone saw this coming. Seungri had this perfect squeaky clean image. Before this whole thing, you could even say he was a good boy.

As a relatively new KPOP fan (I started listening last August), I really thought stuff like this wouldn't happen, I thought this was only a problem in America. I started reading on cases like G.NA's and Jang Ja Yeon's.

And Seungri really wasn't the first member of BIGBANG to be investigated in general.

My thoughts on the Jung Joon Young scandal.

I was very disgusted. That he raped and filmed women without their consent. And this really really helped open my eyes on the Seungri thing. They are friends, if he did this, and admitted to it and said he didn't see anything wrong with it (at the time or... I don't know, I didn't bother to read his apology because heck, it probably wasn't even sincere), it wouldn't be a surprise to me. 

I was very offended, and in general, I started to get a bad image of the KPOP Industry. These are just the things that have been revealed, god knows how many celebrities actually do this behind our backs.

Finally, as for punishments, I really believe they should be sentenced to jail as it is. They shouldn't be given the option to pay a fine because as celebrities, they can easily pay that.

To sum up, this whole article I wrote that probably doesn't even matter because it's my opinions and not some tea I found on the internet, I just don't know what to think of Jung Joon Young and Seungri. And well, that's it. -Minty
