JUS2 opened up about GOT7's popularity. 

JB and Yugyeom sat down for an interview in light of their unit debut with 'Focus.' During the talk, JB shared, "tvN's 'Mafia' is my first fixed variety show. I was worried, to be honest. I'm not a fun person so I was worried I might not do well. But I'm trying my best. I went on it because I wanted to make myself and GOT7 more known."

To this, Yugyeom commented, "Honestly, I'm not sure if people know the group GOT7. We still believe that we have to make ourselves more known to the public, and the members think about this a lot. We want to make our group, as well as individual members more known."

He continued, "It's already been 6 years (since we've debuted), but we're still growing... We want to grow nonstop. The members love to grow, and we desire to. In the past, it was difficult going slow, and the members wondered, 'Why can't we just reach the top at once?' But now, we're just thankful that we can continue to grow. It's amazing, and we're grateful."
