In case you didn't know, BLACKPINK was nominated for a chance to win the title of "Global Music Star" at the annual Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards held in America. They were up against artists from all around the world such as Taylor Swift (who won the award), HRVY, Davido, David Guetta, J Balvin and Troye Sivan. The winner of the award is mostly based off of fan votes and "other factors".

I'm not surprised. I like Black Pink a lot, but they just aren't as well known or as popular in the west yet. I feel like YG really jumped the gun having them come over so soon. He needs to focus on giving them more music to build their base, then expand them globally. It just all seemed so rushed.
