Big Hit Entertainment reveals audit report & business performance for 2018

On March 19, Big Hit Entertainment publicized their audit report and business performance for the year 2018. 

According to Big Hit, the entertainment company recorded a total revenue amount of 214,200,000,000 KRW (~190,000,000 USD), followed by by an operating profit amount of 64,100,000,000 KRW (~ 57,000,000 USD), and a total net income of 50,200,000,000 KRW (~ 44,000,000 USD) - the highest results in the company's history. 

Compared to last year, the company saw a 132% increase in total revenues, a 97% increase in operating profits, and a 105% increase in net income. 

All of the above earnings can be attributed to boy group BTS's revenues earned through album sales, their 'Love Yourself' world tour, as well as various contents, MD, etc. Meanwhile, BTS will be making a comeback this April 12 with 'Map of the Soul: Persona'.

BTS literally support and entire company. If they didn't work hard and sell really well there would be a lot of people out of jobs. Now they have TXT to help carry that burden. Best of luck to both groups.
