'Aori Ramen' is suffering due to Seungri.
'MBC News Desk' analyzed the credit card report of the Japanese ramen franchise and saw a 70% drop in daily revenue following Seungri's scandal.
There's a total of 44 'Aori Ramen' restaurants in South Korea, and 7 overseas. Revenue began dropping since the Burning Sun issue arose at the end of January, then continued to go downhill as the controversy worsened throughout the past few weeks.
According to MBC, 'Aori Ramen' reached 74% drop in revenue the day after Jung Joon Young returned to Korea for the police investigation.
One franchise owner of 'Aori Ramen' stated, "It's unbelievable... I don't even know what to say to my employees." Another franchise owner commented, "I don't know what to do in this situation."
Meanwhile, some stores are even putting up signs, emphasizing they have no direct relation to Seungri.
man, korean society is different.... in my country, the restaurants will be packed, full of people trying to see if they catch something illegal to post on instagram or to see if they catch Seungri there...
