Actress Chu Sang Mi says she suffered from depression after Kim Joo Hyuk passed away

Actress Chu Sang Mi opened up about the death of her close colleague and friend Kim Joo Hyuk.

On the March 26 airing of MBC Every1's 'Video Star,' Chu Sang Mi named Kim Joo Hyuk as the most memorable actor. 

She said, "We played a married couple in the film 'Say Yes.' That was Kim Joo Hyuk's debut. We both have actor parents and we're the same age so we became friends fast. It was his first time doing a movie so I tried to help him settle down his nerves."

Chu Sang Mi continued, "There's something unique about him. Celebrities tend to say that you can't be a good actor if you're nice, but this guy was amazingly nice. He was nice but also very passionate about acting." 

After a moment of hesitation, Chu Sang Mi said, "I just fell into depression after hearing about his death. I couldn't talk or even attend his funeral. I cried so much."
