First scandal that happened in November 2018 but erupted in January 2019 right before the burning sun scandal and involves a popular news anchor and president of cable TV network JTBC Sohn Suk-hee, he was accused of assault, blackmail and libel. FOR SHORT TIME IT WAS IN ALL KOREAN NEWS HEADLINES THEN BURNING SUN TOOK ITS PLACE
Second scandal involves close aids of President Moon Jae-in(CORRUPTION, SPYING, PUTTING A PRESSURE ON ELECTED POSTITIONS OF BIG COMPANIES ETC). "The Blue House has been grappling with allegations that it has spied on political foes and officials from previous administrations while interfering in personnel management at private businesses". People are literally being send to jail but there are almost no news about that and instead there are more news about Burning Sun. ("South Korea governor and ally of President Moon Jae-in jailed for election opinion rigging").
Third scandal: "South Korea has launched its biggest ever sex abuse investigation after SEVERAL athletes came forward saying they had been physically and sexually abused by their coaches". Again there is not much about that instead Seungri scandal blew even bigger.
Fourth scandal: "A former South Korean provincial governor who once ran for the presidential nomination was jailed for three and a half years on Friday for molesting an aide after his earlier acquittal was overturned in one of the country's most high-profile #MeToo cases".
Fifth scandal: "South Korea's ex-Supreme Court chief indicted in power abuse scandal. The prosecution plans to decide whether to indict some 100 former or incumbent judges involved in the allegations".
Sixth scandal: SOPA SCANDAL THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE HUGE TOO AND EVERYWHERE BUT SOMEHOW ISNT "School of Performing Arts Seoul accused of sexual exploitation of minors and more"
+ TENSION RISES BETWEEN KOREA AND JAPAN "South Korean President Moon Jae-in accuses Japan of politicizing wartime labor issue" etc
+ Burning sun scandal took place in november but rocketed when these huge scandals appeared. And the strangest thing is that news about Seungri are posted even among economy and presidential news section..
