High school rep initially thought the call about IU attending their graduation was a prank

On February 19, SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' covered IU's attendance at Gimjae Girls High School graduation ceremony. 

Last week, IU made headlines for keeping her promise and attending a fan's high school graduation. Not only did the star show up at the event, but also performed several of her hits on stage. 

In a phone interview, a rep from Gimjae Girls High School stated, "At first, we received a call from the manager but we were about to hang up, thinking that it was a prank call. We thought it was nonsense since IU isn't even an alumnus here."
