The self-produced track by BTS' Jimin has surpassed 80 million streams on SoundCloud.
On February 9, "Promise" by Jimin has reach over 89 million plays, gaining a total number of streams close to 90 million. It has made a record as the highest number of streams for any BTS track uploaded on SoundCloud, with V's recently self-produced track "Scenery" closely following behind.
Upon its release, "Promise" had set the record as the fastest reaching audio in 24 hours, with over 8.5 million streams. The record had been previously set by Drake's "Duppy Freestyle" with 3.6 million plays in a day.
In the next few days, listeners speculate that this song -- along with V's track, possibly -- may soon surpass 100 million views on SoundCloud.
