On February 26, Big Hit Entertainment's founder Bang Si Hyuk attended Seoul National University's graduation ceremony, to deliver his congratulatory message.
Once he took to the podium, Bang Si Hyuk began, "It is a great honor to be able to deliver the congratulatory message at my alma mater. I thought very hard about this position before coming here today. I worried that I would tell the story of a boring 'Kkondae' (older person who exercises superiority over younger ones). I wondered if I would have anything worthwhile to say."
He continued, "The source of the energy that made me who I am today is none other than anger, or better, fury. I was angry over [their] decisions to take the easy way out as their 'best solution'; I was furious for [their] intentions to end tasks at an unfinished point with a compromise. The situation that the entertainment industry found itself in was immoral, and I found such infuriating."
Finally, Bang Si Hyuk shared his encouragements toward the graduating class of Seoul National University with, "If you strive toward goals and dreams that someone else set for you, you will become miserable and misfortunate. Whatever path you choose to take once you enter society, there will be countless absurdities and immoralities against you, and I would like for you all to rise in anger like me and fight back. Only this will cause change and correct the wrongs."
Bang Si Hyuk gradated from Seoul National University's School of the Arts.
Why does it feel like he is talking about what they are doing to JYJ? I know that he favors DB5K a lot too.
