YG Entertainment refuses to give official statement on assault controversy surrounding Seungri's club 'Burning Sun'

AKP STAFF

YG Entertainment has refused to give an official statement on the assault controversy surrounding Seungri's club 'Burning Sun'.

Netizens and fans have been wondering if the agency would comment on the allegations about the staff of the Big Bang member's business, but YGE responded to media, simply stating, "We will not be releasing any official statement whatsoever." Seungri himself has yet to give an official statement as well.

With the statement to press, YG Entertainment seems to be separating itself from the controversy altogether.

Stay tuned for updates.

I rarely agree with what yg does, but in this case i think is the right move not to say anything. This bussiness belongs to seungri and has nothing to do with yg. Seungri needs to step foward and explain and most importantly fix the situation. If yg gets involved people are going to accuse him of covering up this situation.

I can understand that. It's honestly not their fault or their problem. They don't have anything to apologize for and they likely know about as much as the general public. Seungri should make some kind of statement though. Maybe after the investigation is done they'll say something then.
