GFriend revealed Sowon almost debuted with the stage name 'PB.'

On January 15, GFriend guested on JTBC's 'Idol Room.' MC Defconn congratulated Sowon on winning the 'Beauty Icon' award at the '2019 Korea First Brand Awards.' 

Sowon humbly commented, "I had a good opportunity to become an MC of a beauty program. So I think I am about a rising star in the beauty industry," and said, "There was voting (for the award) and my fans, and I have also participated."


Umji then shared, "Sowon's name wasn't Sowon at first. She was Kim PB, short for 'Perfect Beauty'."
