Byul shared the story behind her debut.
On the January 31 airing of MBC FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Hope Song at Noon,' Byul shared how she made her debut under JYP Entertainment.
She said, "At J.Y. Park's fan meeting, I sang a song and told him 'Becoming a singer is my dream. Please judge me.' After I finished signing, J.Y. Park told me to leave my phone number and he will let me audition. But no one contacted me for 1-2 weeks. I thought J.Y. Park just said what he did to protect his image in front of the fans, but about a month later, I received a call. Then I auditioned and got to make my debut."
It's pretty incredible how Byul went from attending an event as a fan to signing under the same agency.
