Park Chang Jin won his case against the Korean Air family.
Park Chang Jin is the flight attendant or the victim of the infamous 'nut rage' incident involving Korean Air heiress Cho Hyun Ah in July 2015.
Cho Hyun Ah was heavily criticized for abuse of power, where she made the plane return to the gate after Park served nuts in a bag instead of a dish.
After months of hiatus, Park returned to his job in 2016. However, Park sued the Cho family for making him lie in the investigation and receiving an unfair demotion. He also sued Cho Hyun Ah for mental distress and suffering.
The Seoul Western District Court stood in favor of Park and demanded Korean Air to pay him 20 million KRW ($18,000). However, his claims on unfair demotion were not accepted.
Park was also ruled and entitled for a 30 million KRW ($27,000) compensation from Cho, but it was not ordered because, in 2015, Cho has already submitted 100 million KRW ($89,000) to the court to reduce her sentence.
thats it?
