A mother from Indonesia starts a petition in change.org to ban an e-commerce ads which has BLACKPINK as brand ambassador. In her opinion, that ads isn't good for children because their outfits and seductive expression aren't appropriate for Indonesia's culture. In addition, the ads has no certain hour to be aired, thus children can watch it anytime. Within 2 days, almost 81,000 people have signed the petition.
After that petition has been gaining attentions, fans of BLACKPINK are trying to counter it with another petitions. Fans don't want the government stops the ads. They said that there are many inappropriate artists and shows in Indonesia, thus why this ads the only one which has to be banned.
The new petition, even worse, wants that that mother must be out from Indonesia. Not only that, fans now are spamming her Instagram account and sent text to her personal number, indirectly sharing her number on Twitter.
Even with those counters, she still gives no response and keep the petition.
