The announcement was made in a live video posted earlier (which has currently been deleted) by Terada Takuya himself. In the video, he explained his contract with Amuse (Cross Gene's company) ended and he made the decision to not re-new his contract. For the time being, Cross Gene will promote with the four remaining members.
Takuya signed with the Japanese company Amuse in 2010 and promoted in several company productions (such as dramas and musicals) in Japan until 2011, when he got transferred to the the company's Korean branch (Amuse Korea) to debut in an idol group. This group made their debut as Cross Gene in 2012 and is the first Kpop group to include members from Japan, China and Korea.
probably a good idea. takuya is a treasure
however despite cross gene being a great group with awesome songs they have like no popularity for no good reason
