A survival show 'Under Nineteen', that has been gaining popularity in Korea and internationally, as well, began airing on November 3, 2018. The show consists of 57 contestants, that are divided into 3 categories throughout the show-rap, vocal and performance. It's known that the show is to make a boy group of 9, which will sign a 12-month contract and will be managed by MBK Entertainment.

The show has lost 8 participants so far. As it's obvious from the title of the show, all the contestants are supposed to be under the age of 19 (or supposed to be younger than 19 when the show first aired). However, it turns out that the show had contestants that were older than 19 in the very beginning.

Firstly, a member of the vocal team, Ji Jin Seok, that has been capturing hearts of many from the first episode with his amazing voice, is born in 1998, that makes him 20-years-old this year and even 21 in Korean age. Another one on the list is Kim Shi Hyun, from the performance team, that has gained popularity for his major progress in dancing during the show. He's also born in 1998. And last but not least, a foreign trainee, Eddie, known for the outstanding skills in both, feminine and masculine dances, is born in 1998 as well.
