Actress Son Tae Young's agency has opened up about a misunderstanding involving her young son that occurred during the '2018 Melon Music Awards.'
The actress attended the event, which was held on December 1, to present the award for 'Best Song of the Year,' and brought her son as her guest. However, during a portion of the event, he was caught sitting in the special seating area reserved for attending artists, leading to talk over whether or not he had received special treatment from staff.
According to her agency H8, the actress had been sitting quietly with her son in a waiting room to not bother event attendees. However, when it was time for her to present the award, her son had expressed wanting to see her on stage, so he was taken to that seating by staff.
"He did not know that the chair he received information about was reserved for artists," the agency continued. "He left as soon as the award was given out. We apologize for the unintentional trouble caused. If there is anyone that was hurt by this matter for any reason, we would like to express our apology to them."

lmao who cares. glad the child got nice seats to watch his mother present the award. if they were reserved seats but remained unoccupied, what does it matter if a kid sat in one for 5 minutes?
