C-Jes Entertainment, home to JYJ & more, issues renewed warning of strict legal action against malicious rumors
The label stated, "We are constantly monitoring various portal sites and online communities. Furthermore, through reported content sent in via email by fans, we have filed numerous lawsuits against false rumors and malicious slander against our artists. We have notified the public that we plan to protect our artists with strict legal action and no settlements on countless occasions."
"Still, our artists are continuing to suffer from mental damages and defamation of character due to the incessant spread of one-sided slander, profanity, personal attacks, and false rumors on online communities, not to mention, our artists' fans. In order to combat this, we once again stress that we are habitually reporting and filing lawsuits against these attacks, with no exceptions," C-Jes continued.
Additionally, the label warned that "Cyber defamation of character" is a real violation of the law punishable by court, and that in the case of a lawsuit, investigators hold the right to search the whereabouts of the assailant through IP address locations. Finally, C-Jes Entertainment asked fans for their continued cooperation in protecting their artists.
Meanwhile, C-Jes is home to artists such as JYJ, Ryu Joon Yeol, Gummy, Ra Mi Ran, Park Sung Woong, and more.
