Former 'Produce 101' season 2 contestant Kim Tae Dong, who has been involved in internal issues with his label Major9 Entertainment, took to his Instagram on November 23 to announce that the conflict has come to an end.
Kim Tae Dong, whose run on 'Produce 101' season 2 ended at rank #30, stated in a handwritten letter, "As many of you know, I attempted to terminate my contract with Major9 Entertainment after 'Produce 101' season 2 due to the fact that I felt I received inadequate care from my label, and also faced conflicts with my manager."
He continued, "I blamed my label for all of my problems, and while my problems stacked up on one another, another label contacted me. In a momentary wrong decision, I ended up filing a lawsuit against my company... But now that time has passed and I am able to look on this situation with clarity, I realized that it was solely my personal conflicts with my manager, and it had nothing to do with my label. I admit to all of my mistakes up until now and deeply regret my actions, and I hope to begin anew with a new heart. I will return to my beginnings when I first began dreaming of debuting, and I will become a Kim Tae Dong who shows you all only the good side."
Back in July of last year, Kim Tae Dong became involved in a lawsuit with his company Major9 Entertainment. As a result, he was unable to participate in project group JBJ. As of now, Kim Tae Dong will return to his status as a trainee of Major9.
