MONSTA X finally took 1st place on a music show of a major broadcast station.
MONSTA X has won 1st place on cable music programs such as 'Show Champion,' and 'The Show,' however, this is the first time they have taken the trophy on a music show of a major broadcast station (KBS, SBS, MBC).
On the November 2nd airing of KBS' Music Bank,' MONSTA X with "Shoot Out" and IU with "Bbi Bbi" were both nominated for first place. The members of MONSTA X are seen nervously waiting for the scores to calculate.
MONSTA X ultimately beat IU with a total score of 7,067 and was announced the winner of the week. The boy group screamed and expressed amazement at the results. Some members are seen getting teary.

It took them 3 years or 1,269 days for the 1st place win. They are the third slowest group following NU'EST W (2,046 days) and BTOB (1,480 days) to make the achievement.
Fans are also in tears at the win, and commented, "Congratulations!! It's making me cry. You guys have worked so hard and finally have been paid. Love you guys so much. Let's only walk the flower roads from now on," "Finally the first major broadcast win!!! I'm crying congrats," "Good job guys, you deserve it so much."

After 3 years they are finally getting the recognition they deserve. Ahh they deserve these wins so much. TT But just because they won first place on smaller music shows it doesn’t mean they don’t count, I really hate that mindset. Every win counts
