The decision was announced on November 26 through the award show's official Twitter account, and in a press conference held on the same day, '2018 MAMA' music business manager Kim Gi Woong brought up that both artists had sudden immense fame in common this year. However, he did not disclose any additional information about the performance.
Meanwhile, the '2018 Mnet Asian Music Awards' will begin in Seoul on December 10!
