'Cosmopolitan' released photos and interview with the trending rapper Mommy Son.
Mommy Son became a hot issue after his audition on 'Show Me The Money 777'. He made more headlines after releasing the witty track "Boy Jump", which poked fun at 'SMTM777'.
The trending rapper posed for the November issue of 'Cosmopolitan' - of course, with his signature pink mask. It's reported that Mommy Son had his mask on at all times, even during the break in between shoots.
When asked why he wears the mask, Mommy Son answered, "The cheapest tool in covering up my identity was the mask." On a more serious note, he said, "It's Mommy Son's artistic tool and toy, as well as a rhetorical device."
The next question asked if he would recommend the mask to anyone. Mommy Son replied, "I think someone who's constrained by something should wear the mask," and said, "People commonly say that we live with a mask on, but paradoxically, Mommy Son gets to take off that mask by wearing the mask."
I don't even watch SMTM but this really interests me as a concept... like, who is this dude? If the mask is so he can let go of the restraints that his true identity put on him then who can he be? A idol? An actor? Or just a regular guy who doesn't want to deal with the bullshit of fame?
