In celebration of the 14th-anniversary, Joy News24 held a survey of the title '2018 Power People of Entertainment.' A total of 200 experts in the entertainment industry including entertainment reporters, producers, and agency affiliates participated in the survey.

Out of all, BTS topped the ranking by taking more than half of the votes (114). The boy group is named the most influential 'Power People' of Korean entertainment for their global achievements, successful world tour, and more.
BTS' head producer, Bang Si Hyuk, and comedian Lee Young Ja both came in second place with 10 votes each. Bang Si Hyuk is praised for his outstanding leadership and management of BTS. Meanwhile, Lee Young Ja has created a viral mukbang broadcast on 'Point of Omniscient Interference.'
Hit variety show producer, Na Young Seok, came in third with a total of 8 votes. Na PD is notable for creating hits with each and every program he leads. Some of his hit shows include 'New Journey to the West,' 'Youn's Kitchen,' and 'Grandpas Over Flowers.'
SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man took fourth place with 6 votes. He is the figure that has led the Hallyu wave and is still known for creating some of the greatest artists in K-pop.
IU, Lee Byung Hun, and Kim Tae Ri received 4 votes each. Other stars that received votes include Black Pink, EXO, Jung Woo Sung, Ha Jung Woo, Park Na Rae, and Lee Hyori. JYP Entertainment and YG Entertainment also received votes - 2 votes and 1 vote, respectively.
