Sunmi gave TWICE credit for JYP Entertainment's new building.
On the September 4th installment of 'Idol Room', Jung Hyung Don and Defconn brought up Sunmi's search engine keyword connection to J.Y. Park, asking, "Did he call you when you were promoting 'Gashina'?" Sunmi responded, "He said I was doing well. Even before it rose on music charts, he said it was definitely a #1 song."
Defconn then said, "It's hard to be close to your former agency head," and Sunmi stated, "I was with JYP for 10 years." However, the 'Idol Room' hosts pressed, "Sunmi's the one who made the new building possible," but she replied, "Isn't it TWICE who did it?"
Sunmi also detailed a meeting she had with J.Y. Park, saying, "I had a meal with J.Y. Park, and it was before the new building was being made. He told me there would be an organic restaurant and how much the budget would be. He was really proud of it."
