Roy Kim opened up about his love life.
This September, Roy Kim released a breakup song titled "The Hardest Part" and in an interview with TV Report, the singer elaborated on the song producing process, and more.
When asked about his own breakup experience, Roy Kim said, "I have demanded to break up and also have been told to break up but I've never had a bad ending."
He further explained his breakup, saying, "The time period and the environment... It was difficult to maintain because I had to travel back to the United States. My dating periods have been both short and long, depending on the situation."
Roy Kim also shared, "I've also contacted that person again after breaking up. I've openly expressed my regret."
Roy Kim revealed he continuously had long distance relationships due to his studies in the U.S. He said, "Fortunately, I'm able to maintain good grades but I'm in big trouble because the hardest semester is last." He continued, "Honestly, dating is even harder in school. The Korean society is so small. Words spread fast, and I've also seen my peers who were CC (Campus Couple) have bad outcomes."
