Due to a recent Instagram story post, KARA's maknae Jiyoung has been accused of having a bad relationship with her fellow KARA member Hara, who is currently facing police investigation for assault charges.
After becoming the topic became a hot debate among netizens, a representative from Jiyoung's Japanese label label Sweet Power was contacted for a response. The rep stated, "The photo has nothing to do with Hara's case. We never even thought of such a thing, so it is befuddling. [Jiyoung and Hara] are still keeping in contact with each other. When Hara visits Japan, she contacts [Jiyoung] to meet up personally."
Back in July, when Jiyoung returned to Korea for the 'Bucheon International Fantastic Festival', the maknae also shared about the KARA members' strong friendship. She stated, "We are still getting along well. We've never had any bad rumors, right? We're close. We have a KakaoTalk chat room together... Hara unnie comes and goes to Japan often because she releases single albums. So we hang out a lot."
Meanwhile, Hara is scheduled to attend police questioning on September 28 at 3 PM KST regarding her ongoing ex-boyfriend assault case.
