MBC's 'Hide and Seek' producers apologized for a controversial sauna scene from the drama.
On September 20, the producers released a statement saying, "We sincerely apologize to the viewers who were angered while watching the drama. The scene involved the character Min Chae Rin trying to save her company and going against conventional wisdom in the meantime. We humbly accept that we went overboard, and we will try to create a balanced production by being more sensitive in the future."
Viewers have been complaining about a scene in which Min Chae Rin (played by Lee Yoo Ri) enters a men's sauna. While no naked men were actually seen by viewers, it seems the scene was offensive to some. There are also viewers who are alleging Min Chae Rin was committing sexual harassment against the men in the sauna.
