Red Velvet's Wendy revealed her honest thoughts on a dish she ate in North Korea while Red Velvet were in the country for the 'Spring is Coming - Pyongyang, North Korea Harmony Concert' this past April.
On August 22, Red Velvet featured as guests on 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope', where DJ Kim Shin Young asked, "I heard that when you went to North Korea for the concert, and you ate pyeongyang naengmyun at Okryu Restaurant," referring to the famous cold noodle dish from the North Korean restaurant.
Wendy said, "I personally didn't know that it had pork, chicken, and beef in it. Because there were three kinds of meat in it, there was a bit of a fishy smell. They told me we shouldn't put a lot of sauce in it. They said that I needed to taste the original flavor of it."
When DJ Kim Shin Young asked if she put in sauce after taking one taste without any, Wendy responded honestly, "Yes."
