The Red Velvet members revealed they lost some confidence when they first saw Irene during their trainee days.
On the August 4th installment of 'Knowing Brothers', all the Red Velvet members featured as guests, and Lee Sang Min said of Irene, "Were you this pretty since your trainee days?" Kang Ho Dong then mentioned, "I heard what Joy said before. She said that during her trainee days, she had confidence in her looks, but she was shocked when she first saw Irene."
Wendy added, "I was like that too," and Heechul quipped, "So did you feel more confident when you saw the other members?"
