KARD shared about their group name.
On the August 10 airing of MBC FM4U's 'Ji Suk Jin's 2 O'Clock Date', the DJ asked the members how they came up with the group name KARD. The members revealed, "Our company came up with the name."
J.seph shared his honest initial reaction, saying, "I was thinking, 'What is this?' When I heard the name for the first time. It was weird to say we're KARD but I love it now."
Jiwoo also said, "In the beginning, I told my parents it's KARD and explained the meaning behind it. Then they asked me if the name was confirmed."
DJ Ji Suk Jin asked, "Did you guys have any options other than KARD?" B.M answered, "I don't think so." Somin added, "I think it was just KARD."
The members further explained, "The people in our company loved it so much so we couldn't really say it's not good.."
