TWICE's Jungyeon couldn't hold back the tears during 'Cultwo Show'.
On July 12, 'Cultwo Show' welcomed TWICE as the guest. Even before the show officially started, Jungyeon was seen crying and constantly wiping away her tears with tissues.
Her tears continued on air. A concerned listener sent in a text, asking, "Jungyeon are you sick? Why are you crying?"
DJ Kim Tae Gyun asked the TWICE members to explain the situation. Nayeon first answered on her behalf and said, "She was feeling sick this morning..." The DJ then carefully mentioned, "I heard something about Jungyeon's pet dog..?" The TWICE members were quiet and didn't say anything.
In response to the silence, the DJ quickly changed the subject to TWICE's new song "Dance the Night Away". The members talked about topping charts while Jungyeon was still crying in the back.
During the music time, Jihyo escorted Jungyeon out of the studio.
After the music, DJ Kim Tae Gyun explained the situation, stating, "Many viewers might have misunderstandings but Jungyeon's really worried because her pet is sick and that's why she's been tearing up. She has walked out for a moment. Please don't worry too much." The show then carried on with the 8 members.
