Iranian model Hoda Ajidade revealed that she came to Korea because of her fascination for K-drama and K-pop idol group EXO.
Ajidade, who is 25, will be participating in the '2018 Bikini Korea' modeling competition on August 28, which will be held at Naksan Beach in Gangwondo. She is also currently majoring in Korean at Seoul National University.
During an interview, Ajidade said, "I became really interested in Korea as a nation after I watched the drama series, 'Boys Over Flowers' in Iran. Also, I fell in love with EXO's powerful dancing and singing." She cited these moments as some of the reasons she decided to come to Korea. Furthermore, she said, "I love spicy food, so Korean food fit into my palette really well... Also when I go to coffee shops with my Korean friends, I feel like a Korean person myself," and laughed.
