G-Friend revealed their agency loosened up restrictions on the girl group since their debut.
On the July 26th installment of 'Ji Suk Jin's Two O'Clock Date', DJ Ji Suk Jin asked what's changed since their debut with "Glass Bead" in 2015, and Yerin revealed, "We can use cellphones now, and we don't have restrictions on our diet anymore." Umji continued, "In the early days of our debut, they were very strict about our diet. At the time, we couldn't eat any white rice at all. I remember feeling really sad."
Sowon added, "I didn't have to diet, so I could eat whatever I wanted. I saw the girls eating salad though, so I just ate salad with them. At the fan signing event in beginning of our debut, the staff ate pizza. There was one piece left, so I ate it. That was caught on camera for a behind-the-scenes clip, and I got a lot of negative comments saying the girls were eating salad and I was eating pizza."
Yuju concluded, "Still, we're really happy we can eat whatever we want now."
