Entertainment label Fantagio has responded to the boycott from the Korea Entertainment Management Association (CEMA).
On July 26, CEMA announced Fantagio had lost its membership with the association and had banned the agency from all collaborations until their lawsuits with actors Kang Ha Na, Lim Hyun Sung, Kang Hae Rim, and Choi Yoon Ra have been resolved.
In response, the label has stated, "The central reasons are that Kang Ha Na and the three others brought up the inadequate registration requirements based on the Act on the Development of the Public Culture and Arts Industry, and as Fantagio has been disqualified as a member of CEMA, it's very burdensome to currently follow the dispute mediation terms through CEMA. Fantagio also has faithfully responded to CEMA's requests until now."
