Wanna One's Kang Daniel expressed his appreciation towards Zico.
On June 3rd KST, a press conference was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome's Diamond Club for Wanna One's special album '1x=1 (UNDIVIDED)' comeback. The group spoke about their upcoming album amongst many other topics, including "Kangaroo" - one of the tracks that will be included in the album. It was produced and composed by Zico, while Kang Daniel and Park Woo Jin joined Zico to write the lyrics together.
Kang Daniel said, "I'm fond of the term 'over pace'. While recording/working, Zico hyung gave me a lot of ideas. He asked me, 'In the case of Daniel, there are times when you have a hard time controlling yourself on stage because you have so much energy, right?'."
He continued, "So I told him there are times when I tend to over pace myself and while saying that, some lyrics for 'Kangaroo' came up. Sometimes I feel like time has really passed by when I either perform in front of Wannables and/or practicing, I included that in the lyrics as well."
"Because the lyrics of 'Kangaroo' is so witty, I'm satisfied," he finished.
