Youngji opened up about her relationship with the KARA members and her boyfriend Ha Hyun Woo.
Recently, Youngji and her pet dog Wooju engaged in the 'Star?Pet' interview with JoyNews24.
She talked about her past promotions in KARA, and said, "I still keep in contact with KARA unnies. They cheer me on a lot. They were there for me during KARA and they still reach out to me during my hard times."
Youngji then revealed, "I still get red when I'm around unnies. The people who get me the most nervous since my debut remains to be the KARA unnies. It's like the feeling of first love. I get very cautious and nervous even just thinking about them. It's not that they're uncomfortable. I'm nervous because I like them too much. I would get red when they ask, 'Youngji, how are you?' (laughs). I unconsciously bring out my aegyo when I'm with the unnies and become a baby. I really really like the unnies."
Last March, Youngji and Guckkasten Ha Hyun Woo's relationship was revealed to the public. Regarding this, she said, "My peers would ask if I'm overwhelmed by our public relationship but it's not like that at all. It's actually more comfortable. People don't recognize us even when we're on dates."
She described their dates, saying, "We go eat healthy food and take walks. We go on walks with Wooju sometimes and I feel like Wooju likes oppa more than me. Oppa also said he came to love dogs lately because of Wooju."
Youngji also revealed that she doesn't feel the age difference between her and Ha Hyun Woo, who's 13 years her senior. She said, "I was also very surprised too. I'm old for my age and he's very young for his age. We connect well when we talk."
