WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon talked about why he went looking for hate comments to read.
He was a guest on tvN's 'Secret Garden', and he was asked about a concern he had about himself. He said, "I keep reading hate comments. I go looking for them, and recently, there are less and less. Then I search as hard as I can so I can read them."

He explained, "It hurts a lot, but I keep reading them. I realized that when there was no one criticizing or critiquing me, I realized I start getting comfortable in what's happening. That worries me. I think it's kind of a Catch-22."
