According to the Cheongju Heungdeok Police Station, a dead baby was found in a toilet of a building on April 17. 

The owner of the building explained, "The water wouldn't flush for the past 3-4 days so we called the plumber, broke down the toilet and found the dead body."

The baby was a newborn girl only 25-30cm tall. The baby was immediately transferred to a hospital, however, it was already dead before the emergency crew arrived at the scene. 

The police stated, "The baby was most likely premature based on how the umbilical cords and the placenta were also found with her. The exact cause of her death will be confirmed after investigation and autopsy."

Currently, the police are searching for the person that abandoned the baby.
