Calculations for project group JBJ's sales profits up until their promotional period this past February wrapped up recently, revealing that the group's total sales profits currently amount to approximately 4,000,000,000 KRW (~$3,800,000 USD).

Of the group's total sales profit, experts expect a net profit of around 20-30%. The earnings will be divided among Kakao M, CJ E&M, and the members and their respective labels with a 25:25:50 ratio.
According to one insider, "JBJ's goal sales profit during their initial launch stages was 7 billion KRW (~$6,650,000 USD). Judging by the current patterns, it seems they will be able to meet the projected goals more or less as they finish up promotions."
Reports say that this projected goal sales profit amount may fit JBJ into numbers as high as the top 10 K-Pop groups in terms of sales profits. While the group will be coming to an end after this April 30, their story will have a "happy ending", reporters coined.
Other insiders added that JBJ's net earnings individually will turn out to be lower compared to other idol groups, seeing as how the group's original purpose was to fulfill fans' wishes. JBJ debuted back in October of last year and released two mini albums so far in their career. They will be greeting fans this April 21-22 at their final concert, with new music planned for April 17.
