On the April 25 airing of KBS2 'Happy Together 3', Hwang Chi Yeol joined as one of the guests for the 'Sing My Song' segment.�
Upon Hwang Chi Yeol's arrival, the MCs boosted his confidence by mentioning his Hallyu star status�and asked if he's more popular than Song Joong Ki. Hwang Chi Yeol explained that he's on the same level as the trending actor and said, "On Chinese magazines, Song Joong Ki and I take over the front and back covers."
He also brought laughter as he stated, "I thought my popularity would die down quickly but it just continues on and on."
