Employee of adult entertainment facility choked to death after she refused sexual intercourse

Back in November, a 26-year-old man visited an adult entertainment facility and had sexual intercourse with the woman, who was an employee at the facility. He then requested they engage in sexual activities again, however, the woman refused. The man angrily reacted and used his belt to choke the woman. She ultimately lost consciousness and the man ran away from the scene. The police were able to track him down by using evidence from the security cameras.

The legal representative of the man stated, "He only wanted to scare her. He did not intend to kill her."

However, the court found the man guilty and pointed out that rape-related murder has stiffer penalties. 

Ultimately, on April 22, the District Court of Pohang sentenced 18 years in prison and 120 hours of sexual harassment prevention program to the man.
