Actress Kim Sa Rang's agency has made an update on the injury she suffered in Italy.
On April 26, her label released a statement saying, "Hello. This is Kim Sa Rang's agency. People have been concerned due to her sudden accident. We're writing to inform you of the facts about the accident." The label explained Kim Sa Rang had been in Milan, Italy due to plans on April 18, and the accident occurred as she was browsing the furniture store Fornasetti, where the actress fell from a height of 2 meters (6.6 feet) and suffered a leg fracture as well as bruising over her entire body. According to her agency, the furniture store was negligent in marking a manhole, and Kim Sa Rang fell down the hole and subsequently down a set of stairs.
Kim Sa Rang immediately felt pain in her right foot and was taken by ambulance to the emergency room, where she was treated. She later took another ambulance to a different hospital and received further examination for her head and external injuries. The doctor expressed the need for surgery, so she decided to fly to South Korea to undergo surgery for her foot.
The agency revealed the actress was in shock mentally and physically due to the accident and is currently taking rest. Her future schedule will be determined by the outcome of her treatment.
