In recent interview for her new film 'What a Man Wants', actress Song Ji Hyo shared her thoughts on the use of SNS in contemporary society.
The topic came up as she mentioned her own character Mi Young, a girl who addicted to social media. Song Ji Hyo expressed that her character is completely different from herself in real life, since the actress does not use SNS to communicate with her fans unlike many other celebrities.
She explained, "Communicating is a matter of preference. There are those who like to voice their opinions, and there are others who like to just think. I am not the former."
The actress also revealed that her true personality is more on the introverted side. "I feel like voicing an opinion is the same thing as attracting attention. I become rigid (in those situations), so I tend to refrain from it," said Song.
Meanwhile, Song Ji Hyo's new film 'What a Man Wants' is set to open in theaters on April 5.
