Red Velvet, Girls' Generation's Seohyun, Baek Ji Young, and more are set to perform at a special concert in North Korea.
On March 20, the lineup for the upcoming concert in Pyeongyang, North Korea was revealed, and 160 South Korean artists will be participating including Red Velvet, Seohyun, Baek Ji Young, ALi, Cho Yong Pil, Lee Sun Hee, Yoon Do Hyun, Jung In, and Yoon Sang, who'll be directing the performances.
The last girl group to perform in North Korea was Baby V.O.X in 2003, and Red Velvet expressed, "We're honored and happy to attend such a meaningful event. As it's our first time performing in Pyeongyang, we're looking forward to it. We'll prepare well to showcase a great performance."
The Pyeongyang concert will be held at the East Pyeongyang Grand Theater and Pyeongyang Arena from March 31 to April 3. Event staff are heading to North Korea on March 22 to prepare for the performances.
