Mother gives birth in an office + kills and dumps newborn baby in bathroom trash can

On March 2, the�Busan Nambu Police Station�revealed a woman�identified�as 'A' has been arrested for murder and abandonment.�

Last year on November 30, 'A' ran into an empty office in Gamman-dong, Busan, and gave birth to a baby boy. According to the police, immediately after giving birth, 'A' covered the newborn baby's nose and lips with her hands and suffocated him to death. She then dumped the baby in the bathroom trash can.

A passerby later found the woman 'A', covered in blood, passed out in front of the building. The passerby reported the scene to the police and 'A' was rushed to the hospital.

At the beginning of the investigation, 'A' claimed the baby was already dead at birth. However, she admitted to her crime when the autopsy of the baby revealed the cause of his death was suffocation.

'A' explained, "I had to because I couldn't afford to raise him" and also that she doesn't know who the father is.�
